With the SOS pet tag, your pet can be quickly identified by anyone at any time using a smartphone. Simply scan the engraved QR code on the tag. Emergency numbers, contact details, pet, and health data are displayed instantly and clearly in the web browser.
Thanks to the unique geolocation function, the finder can send their current location (GPS positioning of their smartphone) to the pet owner and quickly arrange a pickup location – especially useful in forests or remote areas where no addresses are available.
The finder does not need to register or log in. The location is sent immediately via email to the pet owner. Your pet is always well protected and will quickly find its way back to you.
Note: An active internet connection is required to access the content.

Recommentation: Installation on Smartphones
Make it easier to access your data without having to scan the QR code every time and save your QR code directly on your smartphone.
Android: smartphone & tablet (Chrome browser)
Select 
‘Add to Home screen’ from the browser menu. Enter a custom name and complete the process by tapping ‘Add’. An icon will be created on your home screen. Similar to a native app, you can now access your QR code online at any time with a single tap.
Apple: iPhone & iPad (Safari browser)
In the browser menu 
next to the address bar, tap the icon with the upward arrow and select ‘Add to Home Screen’. You can then choose a suitable name and finish the process by tapping ‘Add’. This will install a shortcut icon on your home screen.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Protect the printed or engraved QR code from mechanical impacts such as knocks, scratches, or abrasion. Avoid contact with chemical substances and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. If necessary, the item can be cleaned using lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft brush with light pressure.
Not suitable for machine washing.
If the QR code should nevertheless become unreadable, no data will be lost! All information is securely stored in a Swiss data center and can be reconnected to a new DynaTag product at any time. In addition, the data can always be accessed and updated in your DynaTag or Thync.it customer account.

What exactly is the SOS pet tag with QR code?
Our aluminum SOS pet tag with QR code is a modern pet identification system packed with essential information about your pet. The engraved QR code leads to a customizable emergency web app with key details such as medical information, contacts, and even a message board where all involved parties can exchange pictures and messages in real time—no registration required.
The pet tag makes communication between the finder and the pet owner much easier.
What information can be accessed via the QR code?
Via the QR code, the pet finder or veterinarian (e.g. in an emergency) can access the following information without registration:
- ✔ Emergency contacts
- ✔ Details for clear identification of the injured or lost pet (e.g. name, profile picture, age)
- ✔ Important medical data (e.g., allergies, medications, vaccinations)
- ✔ Location tracking of the finder’s smartphone and transmission to the emergency contact
- ✔ A virtual pinboard for uploading and sharing images
How secure is my data on the web app?
Privacy is our top priority. All data stored with us is strictly confidential and will never be analyzed or shared with third parties.
You have full control over which information is visible when the QR code is scanned.
We recommend storing sensitive data separately or sharing it personally with your emergency contact in advance.
An additional password protection feature will be available soon.
What happens when someone scans the pet tag QR code?
When the QR code is scanned by someone, a personalized emergency page automatically opens in the smartphone's browser—no additional app is required. The location of the person who scanned the code can also be detected and shared (legal consent from the finder is required). This way, you can see where your pet was located. Ideal for emergencies or lost pets.
Can I update or change the data myself?
Yes! With your purchase, you’ll receive free access to your personal user account (created during activation). From there, you can update information remotely at any time, upload new images, or modify existing details—easily from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Are there any subscription fees or monthly costs?
No! With your purchase, your SOS pet tag can be used without any additional costs for a full 5 years. After that, it can be extended for another 5 years with a one-time renewal fee.

Can I track the location of my lost pet?
No, the SOS pet tag is not a GPS tracker. You cannot actively track your pet’s location like with a GPS collar.
However: If someone scans the QR code (e.g. a finder or vet), their location can be recorded – with their consent – and sent to you. This lets you know where your pet was last seen – perfect for emergencies.
