Description
The digital keychain with a unique QR code enables simple and anonymous contact with the key owner. The finder can send a message via a neutral form without any personal contact details of the owner being visible.
Optionally, the finder can voluntarily share their current location. This information is transmitted in a privacy-compliant manner via email to the owner and can be used to arrange a handover location. The location is displayed via a map link, for example in Google Maps.
Unlike traditional key services, the QR code keychain provides a direct digital notification. The owner is informed promptly and can decide how and when to respond in order to organize a handover or safe drop-off.
How it works:
- Someone finds the lost keys and scans the QR code.
- The owner automatically receives an email notification that the QR code has been scanned.
- The finder can optionally enter their name, phone number or email address and a short message via a contact form.
- The message is sent by email to the owner without revealing the owner’s contact details to the finder.
- The owner decides if and how to make contact to arrange a handover location.
- If desired, the finder can also share their current location.
- The keys are returned at the individually agreed meeting point.
Note: An active internet connection is required to access the QR code function and send messages.

Recommentation: Installation on Smartphones
Make it easier to access your data without having to scan the QR code every time and save your QR code directly on your smartphone.
Android: smartphone & tablet (Chrome browser)
Select 
‘Add to Home screen’ from the browser menu. Enter a custom name and complete the process by tapping ‘Add’. An icon will be created on your home screen. Similar to a native app, you can now access your QR code online at any time with a single tap.
Apple: iPhone & iPad (Safari browser)
In the browser menu 
next to the address bar, tap the icon with the upward arrow and select ‘Add to Home Screen’. You can then choose a suitable name and finish the process by tapping ‘Add’. This will install a shortcut icon on your home screen.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Protect the printed or engraved QR code from mechanical impacts such as knocks, scratches, or abrasion. Avoid contact with chemical substances and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. If necessary, the item can be cleaned using lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft brush with light pressure.
Not suitable for machine washing.
If the QR code should nevertheless become unreadable, no data will be lost! All information is securely stored in a Swiss data center and can be reconnected to a new DynaTag product at any time. In addition, the data can always be accessed and updated in your DynaTag or Thync.it customer account.

How can I activate my key tag?
The key tag is activated upon first scan. During activation, you can create a free user account or log in with your existing one. You will then be able to enter your personal contact details, which are used solely to forward messages from finders to the key owner.
What happens when someone finds my key tag?
The finder can scan the QR Code on the key chain and leave a message to the key owner.
An automated scan alert will be sent to the key owner without any notice to the finder.
Who has access to my data?
Anyone who scans the QR code with their smartphone can use the web app to fill out and submit an anonymous contact form. However, the finder never sees the key owner's contact details.
Are there any extra or recurring costs?
No, purchasing the digital key tag does not incur any additional costs or subscription fees. The validity period is 5 years. After that, it can be extended for a fee.
