With the SOS pet tag, your pet can be quickly identified by anyone at any time using a smartphone. Simply scan the engraved QR code on the tag. Emergency numbers, contact details, pet, and health data are displayed instantly and clearly in the web browser.
Thanks to the unique geolocation function, the finder can send their current location (GPS positioning of their smartphone) to the pet owner and quickly arrange a pickup location – especially useful in forests or areas without addresses.
The finder does not need to register or log in. The location is sent to the pet owner via email.
Your pet is always well protected and will quickly find its way back to you.

Our aluminum SOS pet tag with QR code is a modern pet identification system packed with essential information about your pet. The engraved QR code leads to a customizable emergency web app with key details such as medical information, contacts, and even a message board where all involved parties can exchange pictures and messages in real time—no registration required.
The pet tag makes communication between the finder and the pet owner much easier.
What information can be accessed via the QR code?
Via the QR code, the pet finder or veterinarian (e.g. in an emergency) can access the following information without registration:
- ✔ Emergency contacts / owner information
- ✔ Clear identification details of the injured or found animal (e.g. profile picture, breed, gender)
- ✔ Important health information (e.g. allergies, medications, vaccinations)
- ✔ Location detection of the finder, shared with the owner in compliance with data protection regulations
- ✔ A virtual message board for uploading and sharing photos
How secure is my data on the web app?
Discretion is our top priority. All data stored with us will never be analyzed or shared with third parties.
You decide which data is visible via the QR code once it is scanned.
We recommend storing sensitive information separately or handing it over personally to your emergency contact in advance.
An additional password protection feature will be available soon.
What happens when someone scans the pet tag QR code?
When scanned, your pet’s individual emergency page automatically opens in the smartphone’s browser. No additional app is required. The finder’s location can also be recorded and shared (active consent from the finder is required for legal reasons) – so you know where your pet was last seen. Perfect for emergencies or lost pets.
Can I update or change the data myself?
Yes! With your purchase, you’ll receive free access to your personal user account (created during activation). From there, you can update information remotely at any time, upload new images, or modify existing details—easily from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Are there any subscription fees or monthly costs?
No! With your purchase, the digital SOS pet tag can be used without limitations and at no extra cost for 5 years. After 5 years, the tag can be extended with a one-time renewal fee.

Can I track the location of my lost pet?
No, the SOS pet tag is not a GPS tracker.
You cannot actively track your pet’s location like with a GPS collar.
However:
If someone scans the QR code (e.g. a finder or vet), their location can be recorded – with their consent – and sent to you.
This lets you know where your pet was last seen – perfect for emergencies.

User Manual (English)Recommendation: Installation on Smartphone
Make it easier to access your data without having to scan the QR code again by saving your QR code directly on your smartphone.
Android: Smartphone, Tablet (Chrome Browser)
Open the browser menu and select (
) "Add to Home Screen". Choose a custom name and complete the process by clicking "Add". This will create an icon on your home screen. Just like a native app, you can now easily access your QR code.
Apple: iPhone, iPad (Safari Browser)
In the browser menu next to the address bar, tap (
) the icon with the upward arrow and then select "Add to Home Screen". You can then choose a memorable name and finalize the process by clicking "Add". This will install a shortcut icon on your home screen.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Protect the printed or engraved QR code from mechanical impacts such as bumps, scratches, or abrasion. Avoid contact with chemical substances or prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. The item can be cleaned with lukewarm water, soap, and a soft brush with minimal pressure.
Not suitable for washing machines.
If the QR code becomes unreadable, you will not lose any data! All data and information are securely stored in a protected data center and can be linked to a new DynaTag product. Additionally, the data can be accessed and updated at any time in your DynaTag or Thync.it customer account.
