What exactly is the information wristband with QR code?
The information wristband is a modern textile wristband with a practical hook-and-loop fastening. The QR code mounted on a metal clip opens a personalized web app after scanning, displaying individually stored information.
An integrated digital pinboard allows authorized persons to exchange images and short text messages in real time. The pinboard can be used without registration.
What information can be accessed via the QR code?
After scanning the QR code, the following information can be displayed:
- Stored contact information
- Personal details for clear identification (e.g. profile picture, age information)
- Individually stored additional information
- Optional location sharing of the scanning device for selected contact persons
- Digital pinboard for sharing images and short notes
How secure is my data on the web app?
Privacy is our top priority. All data stored with us is strictly confidential and will never be analyzed or shared with third parties.
You have full control over which information is visible when the QR code is scanned.
We recommend storing sensitive data separately or sharing it personally with your emergency contact in advance.
An additional password protection feature will be available soon.
What happens when someone scans my QR code?
When the QR code is scanned, your personal emergency page automatically opens in the smartphone's browser—no additional app is required. The location of the person who scanned the code can also be detected and shared (legal consent from the finder is required). This way, loved ones can see where you were last located. Ideal for emergencies or individuals with dementia.
Can I update or change the data myself?
Yes! With your purchase, you’ll receive free access to your personal user account (created during activation). From there, you can update information remotely at any time, upload new images, or modify existing details—easily from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Are there any subscription fees or monthly costs?
No! With your purchase, your SOS emergency wristband can be used without any additional costs for a full 5 years. After that, it can be extended for another 5 years with a one-time renewal fee.
