What exactly is the Info Clip with QR Code?
Our information clip is a modern accessory with a practical magnetic closure that can be securely attached to clothing or a collar.
The engraved QR code leads to a personal web app containing stored information such as contact details, notes and a digital pinboard. This pinboard allows involved persons to exchange photos and text messages in real time – without registration.
What information can be accessed via the QR code?
By scanning the QR code, authorized persons can access the following information:
- Stored contact persons
- Personal details for identification (e.g. profile image or voluntary details)
- Individually stored information (e.g. notes or remarks)
- Optional location sharing by the finder with selected contacts
- Digital pinboard for uploading and sharing images
How secure is my data on the web app?
Privacy is our top priority. All data stored with us is strictly confidential and will never be analyzed or shared with third parties.
You have full control over which information is visible when the QR code is scanned.
We recommend storing sensitive data separately or sharing it personally with your emergency contact in advance.
An additional password protection feature will be available soon.
What happens when someone scans my QR code?
When the QR code is scanned, an individual information page automatically opens in the smartphone’s browser. No additional app is required. Optionally, the finder’s location can be recorded and shared with selected contact persons (the finder’s consent is required for legal reasons). This provides authorized persons with an indication of the last known location.
Can I update or change the data myself?
Yes! With your purchase, you’ll receive free access to your personal user account (created during activation). From there, you can update information remotely at any time, upload new images, or modify existing details—easily from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Are there any subscription fees or monthly costs?
No! With your purchase, your SOS emergency wristband can be used without any additional costs for a full 5 years. After that, it can be extended for another 5 years with a one-time renewal fee.
